Burnham School is open for business as usual Tuesday 14th June

Dear Burnham Whanau,

School is open tomorrow and it's business as usual. We are safe, our team is all good and we are ready for another day of great learning. Let us know if you or your family require any support.

Please join your child(ren) at school if you wish to. If you do want to come to school you might like to continue with the water blasting or weed eating we started over the weekend!

If you want your
child(ren) to stay at home with you then that is also fine - just let us know if this is the case.

Please ensure your child(ren) has a drink bottle with them.

Ka kite apopo (see you tomorrow),
Rob and the team.

Water Polo for Kids

Perfect timing to give the kids a new experience and a great work out - check out water polo at Wharenui Pool this Sunday or the 20th Feb. This would be a great chance to help develop swimming skills and I guarantee the kids will sleep well on the night!

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

I have sent out a letter today outlining some information regarding camp. The Parent health profiles are for the parents who are intending to come on camp. As I have not got finalised numbers for parent help, I have sent one home with each child to make life easier. Please disregard the sheet if you are not coming on camp.
If you are able to come to camp with us please let me know ASAP as we will not be able to go if we do not have enough helpers

Many Thanks

Gemma Odering

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

We have made a great start to the year with lots of busy bodies in our classroom. The children have been issued with home learning today which will last for two weeks. The children can choose which activities they wish to do each night. This week they do not have spelling as we are still establishing a spelling program.
Any questions/queries don't hesitate to email me.

Many thanks
Gemma Odering

Swimming Sports postponed and Privilege

Dear parents,

Our swimming sports are postponed until next Tuesday, 23rd March. Cross your fingers for good weather and we hope to see you there.

We are also after parents who are able to offer an activity on Friday afternoons to a group of children. This activity will be part of our weekly privilege programme, which will commence after Team Hui or Celebration Assembly.

These dates and times are in our school calendar.

Thank you,

Rob and the team.

Being safe on the playground

Dear tamariki ma, just a reminder of where you can and can't go on the Adventure Playground - from this picture, where are you NOT allowed on the playground, due to safety reasons?
You might like to put comments to this blog post with your answers.
