Kia Ora Koutou!

Last week we had a special visit from Cheap Skates. They showed us how to ride roller blades, skate boards and scooters properly! They also taught us effective ways to use our new school ramps! Here are some photos from the exciting day. Enjoy!

Burnham School is open for business as usual Tuesday 14th June

Dear Burnham Whanau,

School is open tomorrow and it's business as usual. We are safe, our team is all good and we are ready for another day of great learning. Let us know if you or your family require any support.

Please join your child(ren) at school if you wish to. If you do want to come to school you might like to continue with the water blasting or weed eating we started over the weekend!

If you want your
child(ren) to stay at home with you then that is also fine - just let us know if this is the case.

Please ensure your child(ren) has a drink bottle with them.

Ka kite apopo (see you tomorrow),
Rob and the team.

Kia Ora Whanau!

As you all will know, Ruma Whitu recently went on camp to Living Springs. I know I can speak for everyone who was there when I say that we all had a fantastic time! We got to participate in lots of fun, challenging and exciting activities. Here is a photo that we took on our last day in front of the beautiful harbour. Please keep an eye out on our blog as I will be creating a camp page for the rest of the photos.

Room 7 Camp to Living Springs

Kia Ora Whanau!

Just another reminder that our very exciting camp is coming up very soon and we still need parent helpers. As mentioned in the newsletter and emails sent out to whanau, we will not be able to go on camp unless we have the right amount of parent helpers. Fortunately, we do have a couple locked in already so we only need another 3 more. Any help would be much appreciated.

Kei te mihi ki a koutou mo to manaakitanga! Thank you very much for your support!

Planet Earth and Beyond!

Kia Ora Whanau!

To make this term even more exciting, we have decided to learn all about planet Earth and beyond for topic. This is going to be very fun, interactive and hands on learning that will require us all to challenge what we already know about our planet Earth and what lies beyond. We will be learning all about our Earth and its solar system and also how humans have an effect on both too.

I have created a new, 'Planet Earth and Beyond' page on our blog and I will be adding lots of fun and exciting facts, video clips, games and more regularly! So make sure that you, 'Watch this Space!'

Mauri Ora!
