As you all will know, Ruma Whitu recently went on camp to Living Springs. I know I can speak for everyone who was there when I say that we all had a fantastic time! We got to participate in lots of fun, challenging and exciting activities. Here is a photo that we took on our last day in front of the beautiful harbour. Just another reminder that our very exciting camp is coming up very soon and we still need parent helpers. As mentioned in the newsletter and emails sent out to whanau, we will not be able to go on camp unless we have the right amount of parent helpers. Fortunately, we do have a couple locked in already so we only need another 3 more. Any help would be much appreciated.

Planet Earth and Beyond!

Kia Ora Whanau!

To make this term even more exciting, we have decided to learn all about planet Earth and beyond for topic. This is going to be very fun, interactive and hands on learning that will require us all to challenge what we already know about our planet Earth and what lies beyond. We will be learning all about our Earth and its solar system and also how humans have an effect on both too.

I have created a new, 'Planet Earth and Beyond' page on our blog and I will be adding lots of fun and exciting facts, video clips, games and more regularly! So make sure that you, 'Watch this Space!'
