America's cup breakfast

We are going to have a shared breakfast tomorrow 26 September at 8.15 to watch the final race of the America's Cup.  You are more than welcome to come and watch it with us.
Whaea Sam will provide a toaster, butter and milk.  You can bring your cereal, bread, toppings and plates and cutlery.

Sexuality lesson 4

Today we spoke about how we are UNIQUE and what makes us feel good about ourselves. We drew around our hands and wrote five things that makes us unique. We also answered some questions out of the box.

Art work to music

At 9am on Thursday 19 September Whaea Sam said we have a art lesson. So we walked down to Room 1 and we meet a lady called Joanna. She said "Come in quietly and take off your shoes when you come in." We walked and sat by a piece of paper with a sponge. We were going to watch the Americas cup in Room 3 but it got postponed. We walked back to Room 1 and started painting to the music on the stereo. After that Joanna came around with paintbrushes. It was fun painting to the music, then we added the finishing touches. Next we cleaned up our mess and washed our paintbrushes as well as our sponges. At the end Joanna said "lets have a photo" so we got in a line. Ruma Whitu really enjoyed it and I'm sure they would like to do it again some time.
