Ruma Whitu's dome

Today we made our dome we had already rolled up our newspaper first we made the newspaper the right size then we put it together it took a we while to make it but we did it. It was not very good but we tried anyway we were going to hang it from the ceiling so it did not matter we all had lots of fun making it and that's what matters.

Today we went to miss Sweeney to do dance. Today we did the sasa you have to do lots of hand actions. There were animals that we had to do like a wolf and tiger. There were lots of noises to do as well.

To day Ruma Whitu went to room 1 to do some science. we did 2 experiments each.

Knuckle bones

In Christchurch it was raining our class played knuckle bones. Here is Haden playing knuckle bones. He found it hard at first so did I but then we got the hang of it. Soon we were really good at knuckle bones but then the bell spoiled it and the teacher came to the class and told us to pack up our knuckle bones.

Ruma Whitu science week

Today ruma Whitu went to room 1, our science lab. We did an experiment on fresh water and salt water. In the end the fresh water froze and the salt froze in the salt water. Before that we wrote what we thought would happen lots of people got it right even me. That was the first day of our science week.

Zorba

Today we learnt how to dance to a song called Zorba. We also watched a little video clip of three guys who were dancing to Zorba. They were amazing.

Penguins on ice

Today we learnt how whales and penguins were in danger a couple a years ago. We learnt how whales skin and flesh was peeled off and melt down to power engines and lights. Ships and factories got left behind and we destroyed in the past.

Space invaders

Today we got to play this game that we had to get space in two squares and we had not bump in to each other and it was very fun and I had so much fun

Co-operative groups

Today we went into co-operative groups. Group 21 went into Mr Churstains class and we did questions about what we didn't know about Antarctica and we got to ask questions about Antarctica that we did know.

Air Force museum

Today we went to the Air Force museum and who told us about Anzac stuff and Keiran got to go in this seat and if you pull the rope, you would go flying up in the air. You can also pull a rope for a parachute for you to land on the ground. If you did that though, you would break your body. This was a good day the Air Force museum.
